Description
The Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer maintains and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure, including UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling, switchgear, fire detection, and building automation systems. The role involves frequent site interventions, critical switching, preventive maintenance, incident response, monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with AWS customers and stakeholders. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical competencies and theory, and preferably data center engineering or operations experience and mechanical systems knowledge. The position follows a 24x7 schedule where applicable and requires physical work at heights, from ladders, and in noisy environments.
