Description
Amazon is hiring a Building Technician to support AWS data centers in Airdrie, Alberta. The role oversees maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety equipment, including generators, switchboards, UPS systems, cooling equipment, pumps, motors, variable-frequency drives, and building automation systems. The technician also supports mission-critical server availability, drives operational-cost innovation, and responds to electrical and mechanical issues. The position requires at least two years of relevant experience, an active Reliability Status security clearance with the Government of Canada, and the ability to perform physical work at heights and on uneven terrain. The base salary is CAD 39.66–51.20 per hour.
