AWS is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician II to maintain and operate data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, fire and life-safety equipment, racks, power, cooling, and related systems. The role supports troubleshooting, rack installations and decommissioning, contractor oversight, safety procedures, ticketing, root-cause analysis, change management, and performance reporting, with shifts that may rotate and require physical work in uneven terrain and on ladders. The position is based in San Francisco, California, and offers a base salary of 43.26–75.81 USD per hour plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
