Description
The Engineering Operations Technician II supports AWS data center operations by maintaining and operating electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety equipment; performing rack installations and decommissioning; troubleshooting facility and rack-level events; managing contractors and vendors; and contributing to change management, procedures, and building-systems work. The role requires flexible evening, overnight, and weekend scheduling, may involve multiple sites, and includes on-call rotations. Applicants need at least two years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience, two years of Microsoft Office experience, and preferably data center engineering experience. The position is based in Hilliard, Ohio, with a stated hourly base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD.
