Synopsys is seeking an Applications Engineer focused on physical design for advanced semiconductor technology. The role engages customers, demonstrates and supports Synopsys EDA tools, collaborates with R&D and Product Engineering, delivers technical training, diagnoses complex design and tool issues, and mentors junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, 15+ years of RTL-to-GDS physical-design experience, extensive EDA-tool knowledge, and experience with LLMs and generative AI.
