Description
The Process Technician supports Pilot Line operations by performing mixing, coating, calendaring, punching, laser cutting/slitting, and cell assembly; preparing processes, collecting data, inspecting products, and managing changeovers. The role also resolves process upsets, identifies improvements, assists with machine and vision programming, participates in special projects, and communicates with coworkers, management, and clients. Candidates need engineering or equivalent education, basic math and office skills, safety and environmental training, previous manufacturing experience, troubleshooting ability, and strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Robotics, vision, or programming experience is an asset, and the position requires physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds and potentially working at heights.
