Description
The Engineering Leader serves as the technical authority and coordinator for an engineering subgroup within an Integrated Product Team, overseeing 2–6 direct reports in a defense manufacturing environment. The role combines hands-on engineering work—design, analysis, experimentation, troubleshooting, and failure analysis—with technical leadership, mentoring, project planning, process and KPI analysis, capital-project coordination, and safety and quality oversight. It requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related field, at least three years of engineering experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing, and one year of technical leadership or supervisory experience. U.S. citizenship, security clearance eligibility, and willingness to oversee shop-floor operations and travel are also required.
