Description
The Engineering Project Manager leads cross-functional new product development projects from concept through launch, coordinating Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Service, IT, Finance, and Marketing. The role owns schedule, cost, quality, and scope objectives; manages risks and contingency planning; influences sourcing, make-vs.-buy, logistics, and supplier decisions; and champions continuous improvement in Generac’s product development and NPI processes. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, five years of progressive engineering or new product development experience, and three years leading cross-functional international project teams.
