Description
The Engineering Services Division Manager leads the Engineering Services Division within the Public Works Department, providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational management for county roads, bridges, utilities, the Olympic Discovery Trail, and other capital improvement projects. The role oversees staff, budgets, project delivery, engineering operations, compliance, safety, grant administration, capital planning, design, construction management, right-of-way, development review, and public coordination. It requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, at least five years of progressively responsible engineering experience in roads, bridges, and/or sewer or water utilities, one year of team or functional-area leadership experience, and Washington State Professional Engineer licensure.
