Interac is hiring an Engineering Standards Lead to establish and enforce Java/Kotlin backend engineering standards, integrate code quality and security controls into CI/CD, guide API and cloud-native architecture, and define responsible AI-assisted engineering practices. The role partners across engineering, architecture, security, product, and platform teams, mentors backend engineers, and drives quality, reliability, compliance, and developer experience improvements. It offers a flexible hybrid work model and a salary of CAD 145,000–160,000 annually.
