Description

Canadian Natural is hiring an Engineering Student for 4-, 8-, or 12-month student work terms beginning in January, May, or September 2027. The student will support Facilities teams in the Thermal or Conventional business units with engineering design, construction, modification, operation, and optimization of oil and gas facilities. Responsibilities include developing engineering solutions, managing small facility changes through the Management of Change process, updating drawings, conducting process hazard assessments, supporting commissioning and start-up, promoting field safety, applying Lean Six Sigma to reliability improvements, and coordinating with Operations and Production teams. The role is based in Calgary, St. Albert, Red Deer, Lloydminster, or Bonnyville, Alberta, follows a Monday-Friday 5-days-on/2-days-off schedule, and requires current enrollment in an engineering bachelor's program or graduation within one year plus a valid Class 5 Alberta or equivalent driver's licence.
