Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring five summer engineering interns for 12-week projects from November 2026 to February 2027. The internships are based in Petone, Wellington, and Auckland and cover application engineering, test automation, system validation, GNSS receiver integration, and electronic module design. Interns will work with experienced engineers and mentors on product testing, automated frameworks, troubleshooting, GNSS performance evaluation, and hardware and software integration. The role requires an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field, eligibility to work in New Zealand, and interest in embedded systems, automation, GNSS, RF, testing, or hardware/software integration.
