The role combines technical leadership, project management, resource allocation, risk mitigation, design review, and collaboration with operations, quality, supply chain, purchasing, service, and sales teams. A bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years of engineering experience in manufacturing or product development are required, along with two or more years of leadership or project leadership experience.
