Bloomberg is hiring an Engineering Team Lead - Cloud Stability for its New York-based Cloud Stability team. The role leads the strategic execution and operational reliability of Bloomberg’s private cloud, which hosts over 100,000 virtual machines and supports critical applications. Responsibilities include cloud observability, infrastructure maintenance and failure response, predictive capacity planning, automation, orchestration, reboots, global cluster expansion, backlog prioritization, stakeholder partnerships, and team development. The position requires at least four years of team-lead experience, a BS/MS/PhD in a relevant technology field, software development and cloud infrastructure expertise, and knowledge of systems, networking, orchestration, and reliability. The salary range is 200,000–300,000 USD annually plus benefits and bonus.
