Description
Wabtec is hiring an Engineering Technical Leader – Embedded Software to lead the MCA Platform Software team. The role focuses on delivering and sustaining board support packages, core software services, middleware applications, and related platform software; defining technology and security strategies; leading quality, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and technical design activities; and collaborating across MCA teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or another engineering discipline, at least seven years of software engineering experience, embedded device-driver or board-support-package experience, Linux and kernel knowledge, and familiarity with hardware/software integration, Docker, C/C++, Bash, and Python. Travel may be required.
