Wabtec is hiring an Engineering Technical Leader to develop and integrate Ethernet communication networks for locomotive control systems. The role leads network architecture, distributed control-node integration, system validation, performance testing, cross-system communication troubleshooting, and alignment between logical and physical architectures across simulation, laboratory, and on-locomotive environments. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least seven years of relevant engineering experience, and expertise in networked control systems, Ethernet, DDS, INCA, MATLAB/Simulink, GitLab, and Model-Based Systems Engineering. The position may require travel and offers a base salary of $91,000–$129,800.
