Description
Wabtec is hiring an Engineering Technical Leader to lead the design, testing, application studies, field support, manufacturing support, and innovation of electric rotating machines for rail, off-highway, and drill applications. The role covers motors, fans, blowers, and alternators; supports hybrid and battery electric vehicle initiatives; and provides technical leadership on complex assignments. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least eight years of hardware design experience, knowledge of electric rotating machines, and experience with finite element analysis, bolted joints, and stress analysis. The position may require travel of less than 10% and includes engineering laboratory, workshop, and office work.
