Lam Research is hiring an SEM Applications Scientist to support semiconductor applications by imaging challenging structures with Scanning Electron Microscopes, including wafer-level profile, sidewall, and top-down imaging, EDS analysis, sample cleaving, image optimization, and SEM alignment. The role requires an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience, strong communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work a shift-based schedule. The position offers On-site Flex or Virtual Flex work arrangements and a California San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $23.56 to $46.63.
