Description
HII Mission Technologies offers an unpaid DoD SkillBridge internship for transitioning active-duty U.S. military personnel, training as an Engineering Technician 3 in support of Newport News Shipyard’s E84 CVN 74/75 Work Control/Test Department. The intern will learn engineering technical support, maintenance documentation, testing and troubleshooting, work control, reactor plant deficiency resolution, technical data analysis, and coordination with tradesmen, naval personnel, and government agencies. The position is based in Newport News, Virginia and requires five years of Navy electrical or mechanical testing and maintenance experience plus a Secret clearance.
