Lam Research is hiring an SEM Sample Preparation Specialist in Tualatin to process top-down and cross-sectional samples using FEI/Thermo Fisher Helios SEM tools and STEM detectors. The role includes following quality-standard sample-preparation methods, optimizing workflow throughput, communicating completion estimates, providing workflow feedback, coordinating with team members, and protecting customer materials and intellectual property. Candidates should have 0–2 years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s or specialized associate degree, and experience operating single-beam SEM tools, particularly for cleaved cross-sections for XSEM imaging. The position follows a compressed back-end of the week schedule and offers on-site flex or virtual flex work arrangements.
