Description
Lam Research is hiring a STEM Sample Preparation Scientist at its SEM Lab in Tualatin to prepare and image samples using FEI/Thermo Fisher Helios dual-beam FIB-SEM systems, ifast and AutoTEM software, and related STEM, FIB-SEM, EDS, and critical-dimension SEM techniques. The role requires 0–2 years of experience, a physical-science or materials-science degree or equivalent training, shift availability, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. The position follows a compressed 12-hour day from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., alternating between three and four days per week on Sunday through Wednesday, with Wednesday alternating every other week.
