Description
The role processes semiconductor samples using FEI/Thermo Fisher Helios SEM tools, including top-down and cross-sectional SEM imaging and STEM-detector imaging of AutoTEM-prepared lamellae. Responsibilities include following laboratory methodology, optimizing sample throughput, communicating work estimates, supporting workflow improvements, coordinating with team members, and protecting customer materials and intellectual property. The position requires at least four years of experience, a relevant physical-science or materials-science degree or equivalent training, single-beam SEM experience, and knowledge of SEM physics; night-shift work is required. The role offers hybrid work options and a San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $27.88 to $53.85.
