Schnabel Engineering is hiring an Engineering Technician for its Columbia, South Carolina office. The role involves field observation and testing of construction materials, geotechnical instrumentation, environmental sampling, laboratory soils and concrete testing, report preparation, and communication with contractors and engineers. Candidates should have prior construction project experience, relevant technician certification, HAZWOPER and MSHA training, a high school degree, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently and perform physical site work. Compensation is $16 to $22 per hour.
