Description
The Production Engineer performs complex engineering tests, checkouts, and development tasks; analyzes test results; reviews blueprints and specifications; designs, fabricates, and assembles mechanical components and assemblies; sets up and conducts operational tests; maintains software, documentation, and equipment; supports customer-product testing; and trains technicians and operators. The role may direct or mentor other employees and requires an associate degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience, plus typically 10 years of related experience.
