Description
The Medical Device Engineer supports the development of new catheter-based medical devices and the improvement of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include laboratory and manufacturing support, prototype assembly, physical and mechanical testing, tool and fixture building, R&D equipment maintenance, and compliance with FDA, 21 CFR 820, and ISO 13485 requirements. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of laboratory or medical-device manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, engineering-drawing interpretation, and the ability to use microscopes and machinery.
