Description
The Engineering Technician will design and layout plans for mechanical systems and equipment, perform HVAC, plumbing, and piping studies and calculations, prepare design documents and cost estimates, supervise field engineering activities, conduct multi-disciplinary quality assurance inspections, represent the department in post-award conferences, and manage contract administration. The role requires a Secret security clearance or equivalent access, a background investigation and credit check, and 10% temporary duty or business travel. Qualification is based on specialized experience, a relevant doctoral degree, or a combination of education and experience.
