L3Harris is hiring an Engineering Technician C in Palm Bay, Florida, on a 9/80 schedule. The role performs high-precision electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly and rework, fiber-optic cable installation and routing, complex solder rework, magnet-wire installation and repair, test-equipment setup and calibration, and troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical components. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and either six years of relevant prior experience or a post-secondary or associate degree with two years of related experience; active Top Secret/SCI with poly, IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification, soldering, fiber-optic, cleanroom, and ESD experience are preferred.
