The role executes moderately complex electrical, radiometric, and optical tests of advanced optical-sensing spaceflight hardware, prepares test environments, reviews test results, and follows procedures with limited supervision. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least six years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree with at least two years of related experience, plus the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. The schedule is Shift 1, 9/80 with every other Friday off, and the salary range is $54,500-$101,500 in New York state.
