Description
The Environmental Test Technician will set up and execute environmental exposure tests on high-value aerospace and defense hardware, operating climatic chambers, electrodynamic shakers, thermocouples, accelerometers, computer-control systems, and data-acquisition systems. The role monitors test events, troubleshoots anomalies, documents failures, and collaborates with engineering, quality, and test personnel. A high school diploma or equivalent and either four years of relevant aerospace experience or a post-secondary/associate degree with 0–2 years of related experience are required; experience with thermal chambers, vibration shakers, thermal-vacuum systems, or MIL-STD-810 testing is preferred, and an active security clearance is a plus.
