Description
The Construction Materials Testing Technician performs field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. The role involves transporting samples, communicating results to project and engineering stakeholders, preparing written and digital reports, maintaining equipment and work areas, and following safety procedures. The position is intended for an entry-level technician working under supervision, with a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of experience, and a valid driver’s license; ACI certification and related safety certifications are required within specified timeframes.
