Description
The Municipality of Anchorage is hiring a temporary full-time Traffic Engineer for its Traffic Engineering Department at 4700 Elmore Road. The role works Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., may last up to six months, and involves field installation, monitoring, retrieval, and maintenance of traffic data collection systems; traffic studies; data compilation and recordkeeping; and traffic information requests. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, have a high school diploma or GED, and meet either an 18-month experience requirement or a three-course coursework requirement. A valid Alaska driver's license, satisfactory driving record, CJIS background check, and CJIS security clearance are required.
