Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Electronics and Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer in Austin, Texas. The role performs routine to moderately complex testing, checkout, troubleshooting, assembly, fabrication, and installation of electronics and electro-mechanical systems, including NPI installations and field upgrades. The engineer works from schematics and documentation, maintains test procedures and logbooks, performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing, and supports manufacturing and engineering documentation. The position has no supervisory responsibilities, requires 10% travel, and offers a salary of $21.50 to $29.20.
