Description
The City of Greeley is hiring an Engineering Technician III to perform advanced technical work supporting the planning, design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of municipal streets, drainage, water, wastewater, utility, and related infrastructure. The role combines office and field assignments, including CAD/GIS drafting, surveying and GPS data collection, construction inspection, utility locating, infrastructure assessments, technical calculations, plan and permit review, construction administration, project documentation, and coordination with engineers, contractors, consultants, utilities, city departments, and the public. The position also provides technical guidance and mentorship to lower-level technicians and requires regional travel, a valid driver’s license, an associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and four years of progressively responsible related experience.
