Applied Materials is hiring a full-time electro-mechanical engineer in Tainan, Taiwan, to design, test, troubleshoot, assemble, and modify electro-mechanical systems and electronics for semiconductor and display equipment. The role performs system and component testing, NPI installations and field upgrades, technical documentation, safety procedures, and training for junior technicians, while serving as a technical resource and potentially a quality lead. The position requires advanced analytical or scientific expertise, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and may involve clean-room work, heavy machinery, and 10% travel.
