Description
The role performs field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel; prepares and submits test data and reports; transports samples; maintains equipment and work areas; and may coordinate technician dispatch and supervise lower-level technicians. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5–10 years of relevant experience, computer and Microsoft Office proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and relevant construction-materials testing certifications. Preferred qualifications include NICET, ICC, AWS, ASNT, and other materials-related certifications.
