Description
Flex is hiring an Engineering Technician in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, to support, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated production equipment and systems. The role covers robotics, conveyors, vision systems, automated assembly and test stations, preventive and corrective maintenance, safety interlocks, automation upgrades, root-cause analysis, documentation, and training. It requires an associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in automation, mechatronics, electrical, electronics, or industrial technology, plus at least five years of experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment. The position operates on a rotating 6pm–6am shift and pays $34.40–$47.30 USD per hour.
