Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to troubleshoot and operate electrical and mechanical equipment in data centers, including UPS systems, switchgear, circuit breakers, automatic transfer switches, diesel generators, chillers, HVAC, exhaust fans, variable frequency drives, and transformers. The role involves daily equipment monitoring, SLA-based event troubleshooting, safety initiatives, contractor supervision, and shift work. Candidates need experience with Microsoft Office products and a technical qualification at Level 6 or higher in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, mechatronic engineering, instrumentation, or related discipline.
