Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Electronics and Electro-Mechanical Technician in Santa Clara, California. The role performs moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, assembly, and installation of electronics and electro-mechanical systems, including AMAT platforms, NPI installations, field upgrades, and specialized test equipment. The technician also documents procedures, performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing, conducts rework, and supports quality notifications. The position is physically demanding and may require clean-room protective equipment and operation of heavy machinery.
