Description
The Engineering Technician V supports the design, development, substantiation, and documentation of complex aircraft modifications and prototype systems for military and civilian aircraft. The role involves creating and revising 3D models and 2D installation, structural, cable, and assembly drawings; applying ASME Y14.x standards and GD&T; managing CAD and PLM documents; coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and installation teams; and supporting equipment tests and design reviews. It requires at least nine years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, eligibility for a Secret security clearance, and proficiency with aircraft modification, CAD, document control, wiring, and structural design tools. The position is on-site, may require travel up to 5%, and offers an estimated hourly salary of $43.61 to $62.50.
