Penn State is hiring an Electrical (ECAD) Engineering Technologist for its Mechanical and Electrical Design and Drafting team at the Applied Research Laboratory in State College, Pennsylvania. The role supports R&D engineers by creating schematics, printed wiring boards, circuit card assemblies, bills of materials, and other electrical design documentation; managing design configuration and project deliverables in Teamcenter; and participating in design reviews. The position requires a bachelor's degree and either 6+ years of relevant experience for the Senior Professional grade or 3+ years for the Advanced Professional grade, with ECAD, PCB, project tracking, and team leadership experience. It is primarily 100% on-site, with possible hybrid work depending on research requirements, and offers a salary range of $80,100 to $152,004 plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and tuition benefits.
