Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. is hiring an Engineering Technologist I in Farmington Hills, Michigan. This hybrid role supports warranty engineers by receiving and tearing down automotive wire harness warranty parts, conducting failure and root-cause analysis, coordinating special testing with labs, organizing results, managing documentation and storage, and assisting with quality assurance activities. The position requires a high school diploma or GED plus a technical certificate in engineering or industrial technology, proficiency with Microsoft Office, basic measuring and print-reading skills, and preferably 3–5 years of manufacturing-environment experience. Travel to Mexico and within the United States may be required.
