Description
The Broward County Board of County Commissioners Transportation Department is hiring an Engineering Unit Supervisor to lead and oversee engineering activities supporting major transit capital projects, including BRT, LRT, commuter rail, stations, terminals, and related facilities. The role develops and maintains engineering standards and design criteria, reviews plans and technical documents, supervises staff and consultants, coordinates with external agencies and stakeholders, supports environmental reviews and permitting, and signs and seals engineering documents. The position requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, six years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience, two years of supervisory experience, and a Florida Professional Engineer license.
