Description
The Los Rios Community College District is hiring a full-time English faculty member to teach assigned English courses, assess student learning, maintain professional standards, participate in curriculum and governance activities, and complete other faculty duties. The role requires a master’s degree in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition, or a bachelor’s degree in one of those fields plus a master’s in linguistics, TESL, speech, education, reading, creative writing, or journalism, with all degrees completed by January 14, 2026. The initial maximum placement is Class V, Step 8 under the Los Rios College Federation of Teachers Contract, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
