Kansas City Public Library is hiring a part-time English Language Instructor to teach multiple weekly English language development classes, including English Basics, Missouri Driver’s License Written Exam, Financial Literacy, English for CNA, and English for Citizenship. The role involves preparing and delivering instruction, recording attendance, maintaining an inclusive classroom, and working with volunteer tutors. Two 20-hour-per-week schedules are available at the North-East Branch, with pay of $20.28 per hour. Applicants need TEFL, TESOL, TESL, or equivalent certification, public library or customer service experience, two years of English-language coursework teaching experience, and a valid driver’s license.
