Description
The English Learner (EL) Coordinator manages a school's English Learner program by coordinating identification, placement, annual reviews, service delivery, progress monitoring, assessments, reporting, and compliance with state and federal requirements. The role supports multilingual learners through small-group and one-on-one instruction, family engagement, culturally responsive support, and accurate documentation, while collaborating with instructional, assessment, counseling, and student-support staff. It requires a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, a valid North Carolina educator license, at least three years of successful educational experience, and experience using student achievement and intervention data.
