Description
Google is hiring an Enterprise Architecture Software Engineer for its Enterprise Product Strategy and Architecture team. The role evaluates complex project designs, system architectures, and integrations; advises engineering teams on architectural standards, APIs, design patterns, scalability, performance, security, high availability, and SRE practices; and supports Enterprise Architecture Board decision-making. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 5 years testing and launching software products, experience with general-purpose programming languages, and experience designing distributed systems and APIs. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD, technical leadership experience, stakeholder management, SRE expertise, and full-stack application experience.
