Staples is hiring an onsite Enterprise Tools Engineering Architect in Framingham, Massachusetts to lead the architecture, design, administration, and evolution of enterprise observability platforms spanning application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, session replay, and log analytics. The role partners with Engineering, SRE, Product, and Infrastructure teams to establish scalable cross-platform observability architecture, governance, telemetry standards, integrations, and reliability practices, while evaluating technologies such as distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry, and AI-driven observability. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of progressive observability, APM, and infrastructure-monitoring experience, plus strong technical leadership and vendor-management capabilities.
