Applied Control Engineering, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Controls Engineer in Houston, Texas, for a full-time role involving the design, development, documentation, customer communication, implementation, and testing of automation systems. The engineer will work on customer projects, report to a team leader and mentor, and receive on-the-job training. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field is required, along with programming knowledge, business application software proficiency, communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work off-hours and undergo drug and background screening. Prior PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, or MES experience is preferred.
