GZA is hiring an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer for its Manhattan, New York office. The role performs geotechnical engineering tasks under a project manager’s guidance, including logging subsurface explorations, documenting construction activities, maintaining records and calculations, communicating with peers and management, and assisting with geotechnical reports. The position involves local and regional travel, field work, and work on projects involving buildings, bridges, highways, railroads, tunnels, marine and waterfront developments, water resources, dams, foundations, earth retention, and ground improvement. A bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering and 0–5 years of relevant experience are required; the base salary is $77,000–$114,000, with potential hybrid remote work and medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
