Description
AECOM is hiring an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer for its MEP/Fire Protection team serving the New York Metro area. The role supports engineering design, calculations, drawings, data analysis, and basic problem-solving for HVAC/R and related systems across commercial, retail, public-agency, and transportation buildings. The position is based in Bloomfield, New Jersey, or New York City, New York, requires a hybrid schedule, and is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school is required; Revit, AutoCAD, thermal-science coursework, HVAC load-calculation software, and Microsoft Office experience are preferred. Relocation assistance and US employment authorization sponsorship are not available.
